St James welcomes all ages.
There are activities for all ages during the morning service.
The vestry has toilet facilities and a baby changing unit.
Children's groups start on September 4th 2005.
Our young people can learn together in Stepping Stones, Explorers and Pathfinders.
We join together in all-age Sunday School activities during school holidays.
Some weeks we join the whole congregation for Family or All-Age services.

James Church is very family friendly. Whether you are a regular
worshipper with us at Sunday services or attending a special occasion such as a baptism
or wedding, you
and your children are very welcome.
We encourage families to sit together so that they can worship together in church. Activity bags are provided for families to take to the pews in order to help amuse the little ones.
The children’s corner is designed for the under eights and is situated at the rear of the church. It is available after the first hymn. There are cushions to sit on, a low round table for colouring and other activities, toy boxes, a bench seat with cushioned back rest, some new toys and a shelf bursting with colourful books based on Bible stories!
