Rev. Phil Williams is the Vicar at St James. He was ordained in 1990 and has been at St James since Easter 2002. Before becoming a minister he worked as a voluntary community worker and then a domestic assistant in a conference centre in Sheffield. He worked in Sheffield as a Curate at Hillsborough, and in 1994 became the Vicar at Lenton Abbey in Nottingham. Phil is married to Jane and they have two children. His main claim to fame is that he appeared on GMTV! Phil's interests include playing football, the guitar, and embarrassing his children.
