Sheila Williams

I was born and brought up in Bulwell. When I was 4 years old I started Sunday School at the Church of Christ, now the United Reform Church. I was baptized at 14 years. I later became a Sunday School teacher until my marriage in 1951 when I left Bulwell to live in Carlton, then Mapperley.

My husband died in December 2008 and shortly afterwards a leaflet dropped through my letterbox announcing a memorial service at St. James Church. It was just what I needed so I decided to attend. As soon as I walked in I felt at ease and I have been happily coming ever since. I would like to thank everyone for their friendship.
